I couldn't think of a more perfect place for God to reside
Than inside the mind
It’s a personal relationship
And if we can’t prove Him
Then free will still exists:
To believe or not to believe
That is the question
The answer is only an educated guess
But how can you be educated in the spirit in a society like this?
Yeah it’s true God doesn't exist
At least not in the way we were made to think
Inside the mind, God is all that is good and holy
Take a look in that secret garden, he’s still there waiting
Leave your emotional baggage on the door
Wear your faith like a crown of laurels
March with the saints to heaven’s gate

The kingdom of heaven is right here and now
Existence is as shapeless as a cloud
We’re looking at it and seeing different things
But when you feel the pain of lack of faith in change and fear of death or suffering
And the lenses in which you perceive life need readjusting
That’s when you must realize you took your logic too far
And tried to shape it to forms that it was never meant for
You must realize
God is the cause and it never meant for us to worry
When we do our inner vision must be blurry

God only wants for us to learn and grow and have fun
To be in truth, to be in love
To pour your heart into the mouth of the volcano as it erupts
And when the time comes it wants you to be ready

Do your duty to the beauty of the world
It’s a canvas waiting for your touch
Tracing abstractions across the sky
Lining yourself up to receive the high
To learn is to fortify your feeling of just what it means to be alive

Isn't it so special and free-
The fact that we can create our own reality?
Just don’t forget your origins
God wanted me to remind you
As you go explore this beautiful world
He’s got open arms right behind you

All we see is not all there is
I found a key to different dimensions
Ineffable perceptions and out of body experiences

What’s keeping us down?
The Tower of Babel and specialization of knowledge
Unshared vocabularies leading us to confusion
Misleading labels that make us seem farther apart
Polarization into dehumanization

Some are here for material things
Some are here for the light the Lord brings
Some are here to walk a line
Don’t ever forget why you're alive

Coincidences are for the blind
Inspiration I wish for the inert
You're not at the mercy of the world
Your thoughts are more powerful than you know

People are not here to be overwhelmed
Meet your strength and talents halfway with faith

Inspiring words fall on deaf ears
How can I teach you what I can hardly express
When you wouldn’t even want to hear it
